Definitely not a place for the family. Staff/owners I'm assuming were not very friendly. The water was pretty dirty with beer cans, trash etc either floating or sunk on the bottom. Trailer trash, nonetheless some good cliff jumps with deep water. Also the biggest zip-line I've ever seen but you have to pay another fee to ride that. BYOB is welcome.
The "Blue Cove Hideaway" was definitely a one time experience. I went to the Blue Cove Hideaway on July 31st, 2017 and found that this place was quite horrific! There were many cases of trash spread out everywhere and even an older man burning plastic and trash on one of the bluffs. Although the water was cool and clear, there was plenty of algae and build up trash in the water making it unsanitary. The owners of the Hideaway were very nice and polite but they were in no means of supervision. This place would be very reasonable if the owners cleaned the place up and made it more user friendly. On the bright side, there were plenty of high cliffs that would definitely get your adrenaline pumping! The famous wooden jump was a high jump, and many people that we talked to said it had actually hurt them just from the initial impact. I would recommend this location to be a one time trip unless you're into unsafe circumstances. Parents, do not take your young children to the "Blue Cove Hideaway." I would rate this location to be a 4/10 due to unsanitary problems and safety hazards.
This is a beautiful natural wonder. A quarry filled with crystal clear water. It has a zip-line, jumping bluffs, camping, concessions, and a very helpful staff.
Cool place. Little sketchy. No lifegaurds. $8 dollars on the weekends and holidays. $5 during the week. Swim at your own risk kinda place.
You know you're in the right place when it looks like a landfill. Spent 5 min here and thank goodness we listened to our gut and left after hearing 2 people died just last year. Don't know how this place isn't shut down. Such a waste. They could've put in docks and made things so much better and safer. It could have been such a beautiful place but it's run by white trash who couldn't care less about the lives of anyone or how much their land looks like a junk yard. Like they would have to try to make it look that awful. Drove 3 hours because we saw beautiful pictures but DO NOT BE DECIEVED and do not come here.
