This place has bed bugs. Crawled in bed for a nights rest and both beds were covered in them. My bad for not checking before we paid or being too grossed out when we left at midnight. Stopped in the trip back as we were in the road due to a family emergency. Owners did not seem to care so doubtful the place will be cleaned and eradicated. Will be going to corporate office and health department as well as any other social media site. Disgusting.
It's a place to sleep and shower. Clean enough. Nothing special.
Rooms were clean stayed one night was a good night's rest. Only problem which was minor the tub wouldn't drain without help but no big deal only took about a minute to empty. Would stay again.
Econo Lodge in Athens; clean, fridge and microwave, affordable, close to the interstate and close to a good amount of restaurants and gas stations. Will stay here again.
Stayed 1 night on our way back from NOLA to Virginia. Cheap clean room with a nice soft king sized bed. Friendly staff. Good location next to gas and food. Slept great!
