RIPOFF REPORT!
Adam man Lincoln is a ripoff but doesn't really work there Gordon Swallows is the owner and my dad is the mechanic Bill Watson he is the best mechanic of anywhere and is a great, respectful person.
Lincoln Hickman is either the owner or an employee of this place. He lists cars on Craigslist as if they are his personal cars that G & S is apparently unable to sell. I figured this out after doing a lot of research because he sold me a car that supposedly had a minor, cheap and easy to fix problem that turned out to be a compression issue resulting in the car needing a new engine. I had to sell the car to a guy who wanted to fix it and lost over $500. Of course Mr. Hickman denies any affiliation with G & S, but a simple Google search proves he's selling the same cars on Craigslist under for sale by owner that G & S has listed on their website... He's trying to offload cars as a personal transaction so he doesn't have to stand by them like an auto dealer has to because they're subject to False Claim Laws, Lemon Laws & return policies.
Since Ive had the car it has worked 2 months out of the 7 I have had it. My radiator blew a month after having it, got it fixed then my engine locked up. Essentially i paid nearly $2,ooo for a lawn ornament.
I had went and bought a car around income tax time and when I talk to one of the guys he said the particular car I was looking at had no other issues than cosmetic ones (crack in windshield and a missing door handle). I was fine with that because it didnt affect how it drove. Well I put my deposit down and asked if anything else was wrong and told no. I had told the guy about had I had two very young kids and planned on driving back and forth between here and Fl and needed a dependable car. He was fine with that one. I go to buy it a week later and so and right after I paid he said there is a small oil leak...um what? Yeah, right after i paid.
The reveiw below mine is pretty accurate as well. Don't go here unless you want a car for parts.
I'm a stickler when it comes to my vehicle and who works on it . Well two years ago my long time mechanic moved away . The stress and Money spent . Then I wonderd into this amazing dealer ship met Gordon the owner and he introduced me to bill all my prayers were answers in one shot . Bill is the finest mechanic around and always comes in under his Quato . And Gordon will put you in the best car or truck your budget allows.
