I was told there would be at least two hour wait, which was fine. What aggravated me was that it was almost three hours and my car hadn't even been taken back. If it was going to be three hours, why not tell me that to begin with. I would rather have an overestimate than under. I wondered the store for two hours while I waited, then returned and sat for an hour thinking it would be any minute until they started working on my car.
Anyways, after three hours, they still hadn't taken my car back nor communicated about when it might actually be taken back. I decided to ask for my keys and buy a plug kit to fix it myself. I returned to the auto department to pay for it. While I was handing my money to a new clerk, the lady clerk I had been dealing with said, He can fit you in now if you have changed your mind.' I said,"No." I left the the store.
A two hour wait is not fine it should take no longer than 30 min
Customer service is abysmal. They at least answer the phone, but I doubt they answer as curt in their own home. If you drop your vehicle off, they won't call to tell you when it's finished, so you get to enjoy their sad customer service when you repeatedly call back to see if it's finished yet. I was in the store when someone called to ask for their hours and their answer was "Well we're open now.....I think we close about 6:30" and then after hanging up they made fun of the person for asking and said they should "post a big sign on their window." 1: that should be done anyway, 2: it wouldn't have helped the person ON THE PHONE. I asked for their hours and updated them on Google since it clearly would have inconvenienced them to do so. If Walmart cares at all about customer service (sincerely doubt it) this occurred at about 8:30-9 am on 9/10/2017.
I have been here three times in the past two weeks for one tire to be checked, and everytime it has been a long wait because "they are short handed." I would have selcheduled an appointment, but apparently they do not do that. At some point during my wait, a lady walked up and asked about her car, and the lady clerk replied, "I'm sorry, I forgot to page that your car was done."
I wouldn't have left if they would just have communicated with me and acted like they valued my service. In the future, I will make an appointment with someone who values their customers.
So I spent $500 on 4 bran new tires frim Walmart in athens and the warranty with them and now my valve stem is leaking air. I've brought my vehicle back for the 2nd time now for them to fix it and both times they've had very poor customer service. I will be back tomorrow and they will fix it but this WILL BE THE LAST TIME I purchase tires or anything from the Walmart tire service
When I asked about how much longer it would be, the clerk wasn't extremely hateful, but wasn't very apologetic either.
I waited 45 min for them to rotate and balance my tires I bought at a different Walmart location. After the wait they walked out to tell me they can't lift my 5k lb vehicle because their lift is broke. I wasted almost an hour when someone could've told me this at any time. Then they were chodes about me being upset about having my time wasted. They need a lesson is customer service in a bad way
